Senior PR Executive

Salary dependent on experience

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior PR Executive, who is eager to join our small but mighty agency in Cumbria.

You will work with a range of clients, with autonomy. You’ll need to be a meticulous writer, an avid reader of local, national and online consumer publications and incredibly organised, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines at any one time.  You will need to be a hard worker, a positive person to have around and someone who strives always to go over and above the norm.

If you have travel PR experience we are particularly interested in you.

Key responsibilities

  • Working with autonomy for each of your clients
  • Generating relevant positive coverage in line with client objectives
  • Formulating and implementing full PR strategies
  • Identifying PR opportunities and trends, being ahead of the curve
  • Taking a whole view of a client’s offering and being able to advise confidently on issues and ideas that are broader than PR
  • Independently managing last minute requests and when necessary, crisis PR.

Key skills

  • Proven consumer experience, travel PR experience a distinct advantage
  • Exceptional writing and proof reading skills
  • Ability to balance a busy workload and prioritise efficiently
  • A good knowledge of national consumer press 
  • Exceptional organisational skills

PR Executive

We are seeking a PR Executive with lots of potential.  You will need to be a strong writer, a keen reader and have a good knowledge of the British press.  You’ll need to be proactive with the ability to find solutions yourself when you come up against obstacles.  You will need PR-specific experience and should be able to hit the ground running, writing press releases, pitching to press and liaising with our clients.  A good understanding of travel PR would be an advantage.

  • Helping to create 12 month PR plans

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive who is eager to join us.

You will have no two days the same with us.  You’ll need to be hard working and thorough and take a whole view of our clients’ work.  You’ll need to take pride in delivering a digital marketing campaign for clients, monitoring it closely, honing your activity as you go along before seeing it through to completion and ensuring that you’ve had a significant positive impact by the end of the project.  You will have a genuine interest in digital marketing trends and you will be able to juggle a heavy workload and prioritise brilliantly.

Key responsibilities

  • Working with autonomy for each of your clients
  • Generating results for each of your clients through relevant marketing channels
  • Formulating and implementing full marketing strategies
  • Identifying digital marketing trends, always being ahead of the curve

Key skills

  • Proven marketing experience covering the full marketing mix, with a specialism in digital marketing
  • Experience of managing and delivering with confidence paid, owned and earned digital channels from SEO to PPC and all the acronyms in between
  • Ability to quickly establish a client’s needs and advising accordingly
  • Defining and writing marketing strategies that will define and deliver measurable results
  • Creating and delivering marketing plans based on agreed marketing strategies and delivering ROI
  • Strong brand experience from initial creation to acting as a brand guardian
  • Experience of setting relevant KPIs and measuring on a regular basis, reacting and amending strategies accordingly

We are keen that a career in PR isn’t just available to those with a university education and so we are offering the rare opportunity to join us as an apprentice.  We are looking for someone who is going to commit to us long term and relish every opportunity we give them.
